NATIONAL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA in South Carolina! Go to concerts and attend educational activities around our beautiful state by members of the nation's orchestra. View the schedule of activities.

Dates. Put it in your calendar: the 2008 conference is February 7-9. Also, the conference pre-registration deadline is January 15. SCMEA members who have a postmark past this deadline will have to pay the increased conference registration fee of $90 and will also have to stand in line in Charleston to register.

2007-2008 Awards. Forms for the 2008 Awards are now available on the Awards page (see link at left).

Conference information. New information is now being posted to the Annual Conference page (see link at left). Read a welcome letter by SCMEA President Ann Cheek as well as biographies about two major speakers.

MENC Biennial In-Service Conference. Consider attending the Biennial In-Service of MENC in Milwaukee, WI, April 9-13, 2008. The theme is "Touch a Life, Teach Music." Read here for more information.
