Description
The position of Organist-Choirmaster at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church is a part time position (not to exceed an average of 12-15 hours per week) under the supervision of the Priest in Charge. The Organist-Choirmaster will be the primary leader of the Parish Music Program. The mission of the music program is to contribute to our parish “worshipping in the beauty of holiness” (Psalm 96:9) by drawing from the Anglican choral tradition, as well as from the gifts and abilities of our community within the framework of the Episcopal Church’s musical resources. Music is primarily provided by our organ, which is a 1963 two manual Wicks, 14 ranks. We also have a Young Chang baby grand piano.
